Breast cancer symptoms vary, and may not be the same from person to person. You may experience some, or even none or all of the common symptoms. This is why it’s important to get checked out by a doctor promptly if you suspect you may be experiencing breast cancer symptoms, or have any questions about your breast cancer symptoms.

Breast Cancer Symptoms

Let us discuss some of the common breast cancer symptoms. Every woman is generally aware of the size and shape of her breast. So, one can check for any swelling or deformation in the breast by softly pressing the fingers on the breast surface. If you feel any mass, lump or any kind of thickening, consult a doctor immediately for a check up as it may be the first sign of deadly cancer. Appearance of rashes, scales on the skin can also be a symptom of breast cancer. If you find that one breast is growing larger in size as comparison to the other then you must consult a doctor.

The first subjective sign is typically a lump that feels different than the surrounding breast tissue. More than 80% of this disease cases are discovered when the woman feels a lump. According to the American Cancer Society, the first objective indication of breast cancer as detected by a physician is discovered by mammogram. Lumps found in lymph nodes located in the armpits.

Other indications may include changes in breast size or shape, skin dimpling, nipple inversion, or spontaneous single-nipple discharge. Pain is an unreliable tool in determining the presence of cancer. When cancer invades the breast cell, dermal lymphatic, and its presentation can resemble skin inflammation and thus is known as inflammatory. Symptoms of inflammatory include pain, swelling, warmth and redness throughout the breast, as well as an orange peel texture to the skin.

A nipple discharge which is abnormal in that it is usually green, bloody or clear to yellow fluid or may look like pus.

A change in appearance or any sensation of the nipple, that is, if there is any itching, any enlargement or the nipple is retracted.

A constant swollen and tender breast and/or a sudden increase in breast size - Women should consult their physician if they notice a sudden increase in breast size and also if there is constant swelling and tenderness in the breast other than when a woman is menstruating as it is fairly common for a woman’s breast to get swollen and feel tender during her period.

Indentation of nipple

Retraction or indentation is not the common thing that you would notice, this is also one of the signs where you should not wait for anything, you need to rush to your doctor and get your physical test done.

Indentation of skin over the breast

you should also check whether the skin over the breast is indented. Indentation or flattening of the skin over breast is also the symptom of breast cancer.

Redness of skin over the breast

Redness or pitting of skin over the breast is again the sign of breast cancer. The shape and texture looks similar to the skin of an orange.

For women who desire enhancing their looks, it is understood that they will truly be required to spend considerable sums of money, especially when it comes to altering their looks via surgery or other methods.

The same notion applies to breast enlargement surgery; you will require paying for surgery and for post surgery medications. This option can turn out to be expensive, depending on your choices. The other option for women would be to turn to taking breast enhancement supplements.
However, regardless of what men think, a lot of women are happy with the size of their breasts, and only about a fifth of women have noted that they would consider, or have already done, an enhancement job. Most women would prefer enhancing their breast sizes the natural way, and would rather do it through non-surgical methods.

Women In Traditional Societies Have Used Herbs For Increasing Bust Sizes

The use of herbal mixtures, whether in creams, pills or lotions, for breast enlargement is not a recent phenomena. There have been rumors of harem girls being fed fenugreek to increase breast sizes and these have been floating around herbal circles for centuries.

Possible Risks Of Enhancement Through Surgical Means

In some cases, after undergoing breast augmentation through surgery, some individuals have expressed feeling a hardening of the breasts, or getting an infection. At times, some may lose sensation in the nipples permanently.

In addition, some have also been known to experience a break or leak in the implants that would usually cause changes in the feel and also in the shape of the breasts. This generally causes a great amount of discomfort and affects a woman’s normal routine. It is also true that most of the problems related to breast augmentation can be treated; however, at times, the implant should be removed before the infection is cleared. Then, it would be replaced with another one. In other words, extra surgery is needed for replacement.

Application:

Daily dose of Breast Active Pills is required along with the cream that needs to be applied directly on the breast two times daily. For best results apply the cream regularly for a period of 3 to 6 months. The amount of cream to be used daily depends on the desired size you wish to reach.

Indications:

The cream is said to cause soreness of the breast; this will be similar to the soreness you feel when the breast is growing. If you are pregnant or are nursing a baby you should not use this cream at any cost. Those of you taking birth control pills can use this cream.

For those that have been proven to be effective, it has been found out that these pills were successful at curbing the carbohydrate intake of people who take them, which then increased their protein intake. The increased protein intake was then very helpful at helping their bodies to absorb and utilize the breast enhancing ingredients and compounds that are contained in the pills.

On the other hand, those that have been proven to be ineffective are the pills that only encourage the body to gain weight, and since the effect is on the whole body, the effects of these pills become very negligible. One reason for this is that our bodies cannot direct our body to grow fat in certain areas only, as any increase in body mass is usually spread throughout the body.

Often fatal when not detected at an early stage, breast cancer is the most common disease that women, of all ages, especially younger ones, fall prey to. Caused due to growth of cancerous cells, the disease is seriously harmful for women. In fact, it is detrimental to such an extent that in severe conditions women are forced to undergo a surgery called mastectomy. This procedure removes the breast, affected with the cancerous growth, in order to prevent the disease from spreading. This is not only a painful but also a traumatic experience for them.
The diagnostic and screening tools that detect and diagnose breast cancer for breast cancer survival have gotten more and more accurate ever since the early 70s, when modern mammography became widely available. Massive research and development, along with clinical refinement, have made the whole process very precise.

The decision-making algorithm for breast cancer diagnosis and detection has become very advanced. But the actual statistics displayed below tend to vary greatly from area to area as a function of the patient and population demographics.

A number of conditions, other than breast cancer, can cause a change in size or feel of your breast. Fibrocystic changes, cysts, fibroadenomas, infection or injury are possible causes of non-cancerous (benign) breast changes, but more commonly, changes in breast tissue happen naturally during pregnancy and your menstrual cycle. Symptoms include:

Redness or pitting of the skin over your breast, like the skin of an orange

A spontaneous clear or bloody discharge from your nipple, often associated with a breast lump

Any out-of-the-ordinary change in appearance, texture, feel or function of your breast should be considered a symptom, however tentative and you should report it to your doctor immediately. Do not panic, but do not waste any time either. Most changes, such as the appearance of lumps, turn out to be non-cancerous. However, you should be particularly alert to three types of changes: a lump or thickening of tissue inside the breast, a change in the shape of any part of the breast and any fluid that comes from the nipple.

If you can feel any lump in your breast that is unclear of the shape and it seems like a small crab size.

If you can feel any lump in your armpits.

If there are changes in the appearance of your nipple.

Physical examination of the breast is one way to find breast cancer. But even if you have one or more of these signs, it still doesn’t mean you have breast cancer. Remember that most breast lumps turn out to be benign (not cancerous). So no need to worry so the best thing you can do right now is to see a doctor

Sometimes lumps in the breast can be nothing by a type of cyst, which is just a type of sac that is filled with fluid. That is simple to take care of and can be done quickly and painlessly by just inserting a needle into it and removing the fluid that is accumulating in it. If there is no fluid to be found then they can still use that needle to take a small tissue sample to be tested for cancer, which is called a biopsy.

All in all, cancer is not a laughing matter. Make sure you know about the causes and symptoms for breast cancer. If you start showing symptoms yourself, please do not delay contacting your doctor. Breast cancer for you implies your daughter’s risk of developing it goes up. Brushing that off with a shrug is not an option. Your doctor will tend to the rest.

Probably the thing that will worry you most during your pregnancy is whether you are eating right, maintaining the correct pregnancy diet. After all, whatever you eat is also going to help your baby develop healthily. That’s why a lot of thought must go into nutrition during pregnancy to maintain the correct pregnancy weight at each pregnancy stage. Mainly, you have to follow much the same healthy diet you normally would - lots of fruits, vegetables and grains, proteins - except that you have to pay special attention to certain nutrients.

Folate

Folate, or folic acid, is needed to support the increasing maternal blood volume and to decrease the risk of baby Neural Tube Defects (NTD). Diet alone is not likely to provide enough folate. Therefore, it is recommended that women should start taking a daily folate supplement of 400ug (0.4mg) 3 months prior to conception and should continue through the first 3 months of the pregnancy.

Growing a baby requires a lot more energy especially in the earlier months when cell division is most intense. Vegetarians can source these from pulses and legumes (peas, lentils, beans, nuts, soy products) eaten in combination with whole grains such as rice, wheat ,oats, barley, rye, corn, buckwheat etc.

Try to eat high protein foods for lunch when you will be able to process them more efficiently than at night.

In the last months, calcium is released from the maternal bones to provide for the baby, so increased dairy, soy, greens and seaweed are useful. Raspberry leaf tea is especially useful in the last months as it softens up the cervix in preparation for birth as well as stimulates milk production.

It is a healthy way of eating for everyone

Overall, this is a healthy and sensible way of eating. Eat a nutritious diet that is moderate in fat content. Eat nutrient-dense food from a variety of sources in sensible quantity. Include lots of whole grains, fruits and vegetables, moderate amounts of lean protein, avoid junk food, and get exercise. While this is designed specifically for pregnant women, you can see that this plan would generally work for anyone who wanted to be healthier or drop some weight. It’s a healthy alternative that avoids harmful additives and promotes well-being.

Protein provides materials for the growing tissues (including the placenta, the mother’s blood and the baby). This diet includes at least three servings of protein a day, in a variety of foods like tofu, beans, chicken, fish and meat.

Calcium is needed (especially in the last three months of pregnancy) for proper bone formation in the baby, as well as to help preserve strength in the mother’s bones. This meal plan includes at least four servings of dairy products a day, mainly through milk, cheese and yogurt.

Some foods are no-nos

During pregnancy you should try to avoid:

raw seafood, such as oysters or sushi that has not been frozen before making.

cheeses with a white, “mouldy” rind, such as Brie and Camembert, and blue-veined cheeses like Stilton. All these cheeses could contain listeria, a bacteria that could harm your baby.

pate, raw or undercooked meat, poultry, and eggs (cook all meat until there are no pink bits left and eggs till they are hard). All are possible sources of bacteria that can harm your unborn child.

The safety of silicone breast implants has been debated for years. There’s no scientific evidence that ruptured silicone implants cause serious, long-term health problems, such as cancer or autoimmune disorders. The major problem associated with a ruptured breast implant is the formation of scar tissue in the breast, which can lead to pain and disfigurement.

Silicone Implants

Silicone implants have a silicone rubber shell that is filled with a fixed amount of silicone gel. Each implant has a patch that covers the manufacturing port of the implant.

Silicone implants vary in shell surface (smooth/textured), shape, profile, volume, shell thickness, and number of shell lumens. Most silicone gel-filled implants are not adjustable.

Safety of Silicone Breast Implants presents a well-documented, thoughtful exploration of the safety of these devices, drawing conclusions from the available research base and suggesting further questions to be answered. This book also examines the sensitive issues surrounding women’s decisions about implants. In reaching conclusions, the committee reviews:

The history of the silicone breast implant and the development of its chemistry.

The wide variety of U.S.-made implants and their regulation by the Food and Drug Administration.

Frequency and consequences of local complications from implants.

Breast Implants - Shapes and Textures

Saline breast implants and silicone breast implants come in a variety of shapes, surface textures, and sizes. Depending on the desired shape you wish to achieve, you and your local plastic surgeon may choose a round or shaped implant. Generally, the larger you want your cup size, the larger the implant the plastic surgeon will consider.

Silicone-gel breast implants have been associated with a myriad of autoimmune and connective tissue disorders by anecdotal reports and small observational series. To date, no prospective epidemiologic studies have been done to substantiate these observations, but an increasing body of literature is being developed and older studies are being recognized that point to immunotoxic or inflammatory effects of these breast implant components. The development of disease due to implants would depend on the interaction of genetic host factors so that only a few patients would potentially be at risk.

National Cancer Institute - Researchers from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Bethesda, Md., found that women with silicone breast implants were not at increased risk for most cancers. Although they did find small increases in the risks for respiratory (cancers of the lung and larynx) and brain cancers, the significance of these findings is not clear.

Silicone Breast Implants Are Not Linked to Breast Cancer Risk

In one of the largest studies on the long-term health effects of silicone breast implants, researchers from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Bethesda, Md., found no association between breast implants and the subsequent risk of breast cancer. The study is published in the November issue of Cancer Causes and Control.*

Breast implants first appeared on the market in 1962. Manufacturers initially assumed that the implants were biologically inactive and, therefore, would have no harmful effects. However, over the past two decades there have been a number of reports of connective tissue disorders and cancers among implant patients.

A variety of medications are prescribed for the treatment of acne, some taken orally, others topically. When assessing the possible risk of these medications during pregnancy, the route of the exposure is important to consider. Topical creams and gels are less systemically available than medicines taken orally, ultimately meaning that the fetus is exposed to less of the medication. As with any decision about medication during pregnancy, the potential risks must be weighed against its benefits for the patient.

Two factors that make acne more prevalent with pregnancy are the hormone, progesterone, and changes in hydration. Progesterone is the hormone that makes the bed of implatantion healthy for the fertilized egg. The ovary makes it, but after the first trimester it is usually the placenta that makes it. Besides making implantation stable, it also relaxes smooth muscle, which prevents premature labor, but also causes constipation. It loosens up the joints, especially the pubic joint which makes more room for the baby to fit through on the way out during labor.

While pregnant, the skin can also dry out more than normal so drying treatments such as benzoyl peroxide cream or gel may be too harsh. It’s better to use products that are natural in origin. Tea tree oil is safe to use on spots and blemishes. An every day facial wash, such as the essential facial wash is mild enough to be used on skin during pregnancy. If you have blackheads and oily skin, clay masks are fantastic for absorbing oils and blocked pores - try kaolin and bentonite clay.

Tips to reduce acne during pregnancy

There are some quick tips to reducing acne during pregnancy and still protecting the health of the baby:

Clean you skin to keep it oil free during pregnancy.

Use an oil absorbent microfiber cloth while cleaning your face to deepen the oil from your face while mildly cleaning.

Keep your hands away from the acne and rub gently while washing to keep the potential for spreading of bacteria to other parts of your body.

Regular exercise would aggravate the blood circulation flow therefore helping the skin to tone and become healthy.

Treating Your Acne During Pregnancy

Good basic skin care will help keep the skin healthy. Cleanse the face morning and night with a gentle cleanser, such as Dove or Neutrogena. Avoid toners or astringents if they seem irritating. The skin is oftentimes more sensitive during pregnancy, so any skin care products you choose should be mild. Always follow up with a light moisturizing cream, preferably fragrance free.

Length of surgery

The actual procedure takes 1-1 1/2 hours. However, the length of time you will be in the operating room will be longer. This is because once you are transferred to the operating room, it takes awhile to get you ready for surgery. You will have monitors placed. You will then be sedated or put to sleep. Then you will be “prepped” which means your skin will be carefully cleansed to rid it of normal skin bacteria. After that, drapes will be placed around your body and the surgical “field” will be set up. After your procedure is over, your skin will again be cleaned and a dressing will be applied.

Generally, post-operative instructions for breast augmentation will include a lot of rest and limited movement in order to help speed up the breast augmentation recovery time. There are a few variables that will influence the breast augmentation recovery time, including if the breast augmentation was performed over or under the muscle. Under the muscle will require more incisions into the muscle so breast augmentation recovery period in the technique will be more extensive, and thus a factor for some people.

To help speed up the recovery time, it is recommended that a patient take these steps:

Keep ice packs applied to their chest on the day of their surgery.
Avoid sleeping on their stomach for at least the first two weeks following the surgery and try to sleep in an upright position.
Avoid activities that could increase pressure in your chest such as exercise during the first week of recovery.

After surgery the breast will be tender and feel tight. Nipple sensation is reduced, but should return after a period of several weeks. There will also be some swelling and bruising, which will disappear. Special instructions regarding activity, medication, and exercises for the shower and bedtime, help patients adjust to their new implants and reduce the risk of capsular contracture (scar tissue) formation. BIS monitoring during anesthesia and hyperbaric treatments help to provide quicker post operative recovery.

Since breast augmentation surgery will require time off from normal, daily activities after breast augmentation, the patient must wait to adjust their schedule appropriately. Depending on individual traits and surgical technique, the recovery time after breast augmentation will vary from patient to patient. The individual surgeon will be able to more closely estimate what type of time it will take after breast augmentation before normal activities can be resumed, however all surgical procedures carry risk and unforeseeable occurrences.

At Cosmetic Surgery Recovery Suites, we are vigilant about watching for postoperative complications and take every step to ensure you have a smooth and safe breast augmentation recovery.

There are several almost unnoticed first week pregnancy symptoms, although most women experience them. Would you recognize them? If you are currently trying to GET PREGNANT, you are probably looking and hoping for even the slightest pregnancy symptom. Very early pregnancy symptoms experienced within the first seven days of conception could go unnoticed if you are not looking for them, yet most women experience them.

The first early pregnancy symptom that most women miss is a change in their cervical mucus. Once you conceive, your body starts forming the mucus plug. Most women after they ovulate, they experience their cervical mucus has dried up and becomes almost non-existent for several days. However if you have conceived, it is not uncommon for your cervical mucus to remain abundant.

It’s common to experience no symptoms during the first weeks of pregnancy.

Some women experience no symptoms at all during their first week of pregnancy. Remember that it is early, and the body might not even be sure how to react to this change just yet. Do not feel surprised or concerned if there are no symptoms of pregnancy in the first week. This occurrence is common and not a cause for concern.

Implantation bleeding:

Many women mistake this for their period, and later symptoms for the flu or some kind of illness. Implantation bleeding will occur approximately 8 days after conception. It will be shorter and lighter than the average 5 day cycle, and the blood may appear a lighter color. Implantation bleeding is the very first sign of pregnancy, and is caused, as it’s name suggests by the fertilized egg implanting in the uterine wall. Implantation bleeding does not occur in every pregnancy.

Immediate Attention

As mentioned, each and every stage of pregnancy is highly important. The initial stages are even more crucial because of threat of miscarriage is at its peak in these initial weeks of pregnancy. Thus to take appropriate steps right away it is important to know when the pregnancy period begins.

Although, it is fair to say that some people do know that they have become pregnant as soon as the first week. They find it difficult to explain how they know this, however it is thought that it is more about instinct, perhaps even desire than knowing for absolute certain. Yet, the facts do suggest that we do start to feel a little differently after conception, so there might be something in it. For certain, not everyone is like this as there are often people that do not have a single inkling of being pregnant, despite being 3 weeks late for their period.

These herbal breast enhancement pills are very quickly becoming the most talked about method of breast enlargement. The most popular alternative method to surgical breast enlargement is breast enhancement pills (also known as bust pills). If you have seriously tried all the other methods such as breast enlargement pills, then maybe this method.

We have reviewed and researched over 100 Herbal Breast Enhancement pills on the market. Our highly educated scientists and researchers have studied and even tried many of these products themselves. All of the information supplied by us at the Herbal Foundation, is unbiased and based on our own results, as well as the thousands of letters we receive monthly. Our experts have thoroughly tested hundreds of herbs used in Breast Enlargement Pills currently on the market. In our laboratory, we extract and test each individual herb to ascertain the breast enhancement properties produced by the herb.

Don’t waste your money on creams that are supposed to enlarge your breasts. Eighty-five percent of a woman’s breast is fat, so the only way to make your breasts larger is to make you fatter, but most women don’t want to gain weight. The female hormone, estrogen, stimulates breast fat to grow, but it can only be stimulated so much. A woman whose body does not produce adequate amounts of estrogen will have her breasts enlarged by taking more estrogen, even in a cream; but estrogen cream will not grow larger breasts in normal women.

If it were possible to get good results with one simple formula, we would be delighted, but one simple formula does not work for everyone. We personalize each program because every person’s body is different. The advantage is our personalized herbal breast enhancement pill program gives you long lasting results and enables us to provide a Guarantee with no time limit. We are the only company offering this. Your new breast size is 100% real and 100% authentically you.

Maxi Bloom is an all natural herbal supplement used effectively to balance the hormonal levels in the female body.* Maxi Bloom is used to achieve new growth tissue and firm up the breast during usage. *Most women find some increase in tenderness during the initial weeks, followed by an increase in size.

Before beginning to see how the herbal breast enhancement methods work, it is necessary to understand the biological process of breast development. The development of a girl’s breasts begins at her puberty. Puberty begins at different ages for different girls; it may begin as early as eight years or as late as twelve years. When puberty is reached, the female secondary sex hormones, such as estrogen and progesterone increase in their content.

Currently there are very few published studies that examine the risks and side effects of using herbal breast enhancement products. There are some companies that have conducted their own herbal breast enhancement research, though the information in these studies has not been published in medical journals, and thus the details, accuracy, and quality of these studies are unknown.

While plants with hormone-like effects may exhibit properties that can help protect against cancer, the herbs used in some herbal breast enhancement products may not be considered safe at the doses recommended by certain companies. There may be a greater risk of adverse side effects in women who suffer from fibrocystic breasts, endometriosis, and gallbladder disease, as well as in women who are pregnant, nursing, taking oral contraceptives, at risk of breast cancer, or undergoing hormone replacement therapy.

Chemotherapy needs to be tailored to the type of cancer involved. Women require different treatments depending on whether the tumor is node-negative or -positive, hormone receptor-positive or -negative, or HER2-positive or -negative. Different treatment approaches are also used for early-stage cancer and advanced cancer.

The oncologist will also determine how long and how often you will have chemotherapy treatments. Chemotherapy can be administered intravenously (in the vein) or by pill, and is usually a combination of drugs. Chemotherapy treatments are often given in cycles; a treatment for a period of time, followed by a recovery period, then another treatment. Chemotherapy may be given in a variety of settings including your home, a hospital outpatient facility, a physician’s office or clinic, or in a hospital.

Chemotherapy drugs are active against cancer cells that may have been left behind after surgery or against cancer cells that may have spread to other organs. These drugs are usually given intravenously but some of them can be taken in a pill form. The chemotherapy drugs travel through the bloodstream to reach cancer cells in most parts of the body.

Chemotherapy is used for breast cancer treatment in three main ways:

Neoadjuvant or primary systemic breast cancer chemotherapy may be used before surgery to reduce the size of large tumors and to destroy cancer cells. This type of chemotherapy often makes breast-conserving surgery possible. and also helps our cancer doctors to determine the effectiveness of a particular regimen on your tumor.

Adjuvant breast cancer chemotherapy, used after surgery or radiation, helps to further target breast cancer cells that may not have been removed during surgery, and/or may also prevent breast cancer from spreading to other parts of your body.

Duration of chemotherapy

Chemotherapy for breast cancer is usually given as a series of treatments every two to four weeks over a period of four to six months. This can vary, depending on the type and stage of your cancer, your general health and the combination of drugs used.

Most patients receive chemotherapy after they heal from breast surgery and prior to radiation. The physician chooses the chemotherapy drugs and sequence of treatment based on the details of each case. Researchers conduct many clinical trials to find drug combinations and treatment sequences that result in improved outcomes for patients who have breast cancer.

Side Effects of Chemotherapy for Breast Cancer

The side effects of chemotherapy depend on the type of drugs used, the amount taken and the length of treatment.

Many side effects can be treated with drugs that prevent or reduce nausea and vomiting. Growth factors are drugs that stimulate the production of red or white blood cells. They can help bone marrow recover after chemotherapy and prevent problems resulting from low blood counts. The use of these drugs allows doctors to give chemotherapy more frequently.
